Chinese Tendon Relaxing Soak Mix (External Use Only)

Formulated to help with rehabilitation stage of soft tissue injury. Usually the second or third week after the original sprain or strain injury when there is still a significant amount of stiffness and limited range of motion.

Soak Mix Ingredients (included):

Dang Gui Wei (Angelica chinensis root tail); Hong Hua (Safflower); Su Mu (Sappan wood); Bai Zhi (Atractylodes root); Jiang Huang (Indian turmeric root); Hu Zhang (Japanese knotweed); Wei Ling Xian (Chinese clematis root); Qiang Huo (Notopterygium root; Wu Jia Pi (Acanthopanacis ginseng bark); Hai Tong Pi (Coral-bean bark); Huai Niu Xi (Achyranthes root); Chuan Lian Zi (Sichuan pagoda tree fruit); Tu Fu Ling (Greenbriar root); Ru Xiang (Frankincense); Chuan Jiao (Prickly ash pepper); Tou Gu Cao (Garden balsam).

Preparation Directions

Boil the herb tea bag in a large pot with 8 to 10 cups of water for 10 to 15 minutes. (You may add or decrease the amount of liquid used depending the on the amount of liquid needed to cover the injury site). 

Allow to cool to lukewarm then soak the injured limb in the liquid for 15 to 20 minutes 2 times per day. The liquid can be reused for 2 to 3 days of repeated soaking sessions. 

Note that once boiled the tea bag of herbs can also be applied warm to the affected area.
